Nissan Micra EV has been officially revealed, bringing a compact, electric hatchback tailored for city driving. Built on the AmpR Small platform, also used by the Renault 5 E-Tech, the Micra EV delivers efficiency, bold design, and urban practicality in one compact package.

Nissan Micra EV Range and Charging

Two battery variants are available for the Micra EV. The standard 40kWh battery offers up to 308 km on a full charge. Meanwhile, the higher-capacity 52kWh battery delivers an impressive range of 408 km. Both models support 100kW DC fast charging. As a result, charging from 15% to 80% takes just about 30 minutes. Additionally, a built-in heat pump and thermal battery management improve performance in extreme conditions.

Micra EV Interior and Technology

The Nissan Micra EV blends retro style with modern tech. Circular LED headlights and sculpted lines offer a futuristic appeal. Inside, the cabin is equipped with twin 10.1-inch digital displays for infotainment and driver info. Ambient lighting and smart upholstery improve comfort. In addition, the boot space is a practical 326 litres—ideal for daily city use.

Global Launch Plans and Market Potential

According to Nissan Global, the Micra EV will launch in Europe by late 2025. Although its India debut remains unconfirmed, it would suit Indian roads well. Compact design, long range, and fast charging make it a smart pick for congested urban areas.

Why the Nissan Micra Stands Out

The Nissan Micra EV isn’t just efficient—it’s stylish, compact, and tech-forward. In cities where space is limited, its small footprint is a major advantage. Combined with long battery life and fast charging, it delivers excellent urban mobility. Moreover, its modern cabin ensures every drive feels premium. In conclusion, this electric hatchback offers an eco-friendly and stylish option for new-generation drivers.
